[Sundaytimes=Chris Lee Reporter]Siti Ma'rifah, the first daughter of the Vice President of Indonesia was born a woman who is a legal genius.

From her marriage, she is blessed with 4 good and polite children named Syaika, Eric, Najwa, Ditha.

She holds a doctorate from Krisnadwipayana University (UNKRIS) with the title "Very Satisfactory" on January 18, 2020 at the Ballroom Hotel Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta.

The title of her dissertation was the strength of the MPR's authority in order to strengthen the State Administration Check and Balances according to the 1945 Constitution.

"I choose the title because People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) is a form of a typical Indonesian representative in which there are members of People's Representative Council (DPR), Regional Representative Council (DPD) and group delegates. MPR represents the people's authority, therefore, even though It does not become the highest institution of the State anymore it still remain a primus inter pares with authority that is not contained in other state institutions namely establishing and amending the Constitution 1945, establishing and Inaugurations of the President and Vice President and should be re-authorized to re-establish the guidelines for the state (GBHN)", said Siti.

The session was chaired by UNKRIS Chancellor Dr. Abdul Rivai SE MSi, with the Board of Examiners Prof. Dr Bintan R Saragih SH and Co-Promoter Dr. Philips A Kana SH MH.  While the Examination Team consisted of five people namely Prof. Dr. Mahfud MD, Prof. Dr. Satya Arinanto, Prof. Dr. T Gayus Lumbuun, Prof. Dr. Erna Widjajati, and Dr. Firman Wijaya.

Siti Ma'rifah who also the Chairperson of Aljihad Education Foundation Saladin Al Ayyubi was able to answer all questions from the Maestro of Laws by  positive thinking.

One of the five members of the Examination Team, Prof. Dr.  Mahfud MD (The Coordinator Minister for Politics, Legal and Security affairs asked her about the development of democracy in Indonesia.

Mahfud said there were those who considered the democratic system in Indonesia to be going well, but there were also those who thought it was too far.

He asked her for two good examples and two bad examples from the current development of democracy

And Siti also answered, the democratic system cannot be judged well and badly from time to time. In her presentation, she agreed that the constitution was implemented based on an agreement that was adjusted to the era.

"It could be that the MPR during President Soekarno and Soeharto was good at that time, but if it is applied at this time it is not appropriate because the conditions of our constitutional movement are changing"

The program was attended by the Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his wife who also witnessed their daughter get an honorary necklace.
